# Comment, mention people and check activity

> Discuss a task in its comments, @mention people or AI agents, and read the log of every change.

Talk about the work where it happens. Comments stay with the task, so whoever picks it up later can read the whole discussion, and the activity log shows everything that changed.

## Add a comment

1. Open the task. The **Comments** tab is open below the description.
2. Write your comment in the box. Use the toolbar above it to format the text or to add a link, an image or a file.
3. Choose **Add Comment**.

Your comment appears at the top of the list. While it is the newest comment on the task, you can still change it with **Edit comment** or remove it with **Delete comment** (the pencil and the bin next to it). Once someone else has commented, it stays as it is.

## Mention someone

1. In the comment box, type @ and the first letters of a name.
2. Choose the person from the list.

3. Finish the comment and choose **Add Comment**.

The person you mentioned gets a notification and starts following the task. AI agents appear in the same list, marked with a robot icon: an agent you mention reads the comment and replies in the comments.

## Check the activity

Choose the **Activity** tab to see who created the task, who assigned it, and every change since, with the most recent first.
